While some women sail smoothly through the years as they approach 50 and beyond, so many other women feel overwhelmed, as they cope with changes in their body that they can hardly understand. If puberty was confusing, the hormonal fluctuations that happen at this time of your life can feel even worse. And as if that isn’t bad enough, most people around you, sometimes including your doctor, don’t know how it feels for you, and may even dismiss it.

I’m Veronica Lim, Registered Nutritional Therapist, Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach and Transformational Coach. Well, that’s a mouthful to say that it’s my mission to help women who are 45 and beyond to feel confident in and about themselves again, so they can come into their own and really blossom and thrive.

This website is an invitation to you to expand your thinking about nutrition and you. Nutrition is so much than just the food that you eat. It’s what nourishes all of you – mind, body, heart, spirit and soul. It encompasses every aspect of your life.  So now is a good time, if you choose, to start reorienting and making conscious choices about what to eat, how to think, how to feel, what makes your heart sing.

It’s my intention to share recipes, articles and insights, as well as programmes and courses here, to help change your perspective on not just healthy eating, but how you can uplevel your health, energy and vibration, and start to feel good again, no matter what else is going on in your world.

One of the most important reminders for me over the last twenty-plus years, has been, "There is nothing more important than that you feel good." The ripple effect from living this reminder can be quite profound. So one of the most powerful choices you can make, right now, is to decide how you want to feel. I feel healthier, more confident now that I have the right tools

My biggest concern was whether I would be able to stick with the programme. But since doing it, I have learnt to listen to my body and to understand what nurtures it and what doesn't. I decided to do this programme as both my mum and sister have experienced significant health challenges which worried me, and I wanted to take any steps I could to avoid going down the same path. So I was looking forward to doing this while at the same time, I wasn’t sure exactly what kind of results to expect. I needn’t have been concerned. The results have been absolutely amazing! I have so much more energy – my partner and I no longer start nodding off while reading bedtime stories to our bubba, my sugar cravings are gone – really gone, my eczema has cleared up (my husband’s asthma cough has just about gone too!) and although I didn’t have a need to lose any weight, I actually lost my “muffin top”. Even my girlfriends made a comment that my skin has a glow to it that wasn’t there before! But one of the main things I never thought about at all before, was my level of confidence. Now, I manage my stress level not the other way around, I just feel so different after the programme. I’m standing tall, I’m handling work better and worry so much less.
